Acquisitions
Oversized lots, tear-down candidates, and parcels constrained by frontage, zoning, or utilities.
ABOUT
Ryan Clark has worked in construction since 2006 and founded R2HB in 2018. The company delivered its first new-construction home in 2021 and its first minor subdivision in 2022.
R2HB has completed 165+ projects across 32 markets: 113 rehabilitation and addition projects including 40 full-gut rehabilitations, 48 new-construction homes, nine minor subdivisions, and six builder takeovers.
Some projects appear in more than one category.
HOW THE WORK CHANGED
The early years were rehabilitation work. New construction followed in 2021, the first minor subdivision in 2022, and a use variance at 427 Salem Avenue in Woodbury, approved 7-0 by the Planning/Zoning Board in 2021.
The direction has been consistent. R2HB now works on projects where what a property is allowed to become matters more than what it costs to build.
What R2HB does
Oversized lots, tear-down candidates, and parcels constrained by frontage, zoning, or utilities.
Demolition, structural reuse, and conversion to residential where the zoning and the structure both allow it.
Scope, schedule, trades, inspections, and closeout, managed by the same operator who bought the property.
Thirty-one loans closed since 2022, all repaid at or before maturity.
